We provide exceptional training courses to behavioral health agencies, health care organizations, and Washington state tribes. The trainings we offer include the required education for organizations involved in the Recovery Navigator Program, L.E.A.D. programs, and other state and federal behavioral health grants and programs. Our training and leadership programs meet the needs of peer-run agencies and support their organizational goals of increasing staff retention and promoting leaders within the organization.
Our training programs also benefit all aspects of workplace wellness for any organization or private company. These programs include workplace mental health training for leaders and staff to help develop workplace culture that supports mental health and well-being, emotional intelligence, goal setting, and healthy communication. Professional Foundational Skills Team Training Program for Peers
This program is designed to provide foundational professional skills for peer services staff. Course content includes communication skills, conflict resolution, building trust, accountability, productivity, and perspectives in trauma-informed care. Program content can be tailored based on an all-staff needs/skills survey and review of current training programs offered in the organization.
Peer Leadership Development and Skills Group Training Program
This program equips peer leaders with the skills, knowledge, and resources to be successful in their leadership role. The role of a peer support specialist is an invaluable part of health care and is emerging as an integrative service among many organizations and agencies. For peer staff who have already transitioned into a leadership role or those that may transition into a leadership role, this training program provides a thorough examination of leadership fundamentals and knowledge essential to be successful in a leadership position. Workplace Professional Development Team Training and Coaching Program
Our Workplace Professional Development program increases skills to support challenges in the workplace and build resources to grow as a professional. This program is available individually or in group setting (virtually or in-person) focusing on specific tools and skills to develop employee resources and thrive in the workplace.
Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace
At the heart of relationships is Emotional Intelligence—the ability to recognize, understand, and manage your own emotions and recognize, understand, and influence the emotions of others. This course takes an in-depth look at emotional intelligence and applies it to the work of a behavioral health provider, peer support, healthcare provider, or business professional.
Identifying and managing emotions effectively play a critical role in all interactions. Developing tools to recognize, navigate, and intentionally respond to challenging emotional states helps to reduce leader and staff stress. With less stress, productivity increases and mental focus and clarity improve. This program helps you to accurately read the emotions of others, identify and manage your own emotions, and develop a system to respond and recover from emotions efficiently.
Goal Setting for Getting Things Done
Time is valuable and getting things done more efficiently and effectively improves performance and achieves outcomes. In this program, you will learn about your barriers to change, what promotes effective goal setting, and ways to create a mechanism to hold yourself accountable to the change.
Professional Communication Strategies in the Workplace
Communication skills are essential in the workplace since every position in the organization requires personal interactions. Strong communication skills help staff to facilitate interactions that support efficiency, productivity, and a healthy workplace environment. This program offers the tools to develop professional communication skills and help to identify the limiting factors to healthy communication.
Living Well Workplace Wellness Program
A large part of wellness at work is stress management and finding a healthy balance between personal life and work life. Self-care is an invaluable asset to living well whether at home or work. In the helping profession, boundaries are difficult to manage due to the time, energy, and care invested into others. This program provides a comprehensive view of wellness and covers the importance of maintaining work/life balance and healthy self-care to manage stress and prevent burnout.
Fostering Mental Health in the Workplace
The value of growing workplace mental health is becoming understood across many industries. This program provides the fundamental skills to create a mentally healthy workplace through core knowledge and supportive skills to navigate mental health scenarios at work. This program reviews common mental health challenges, the impact that mental health issues have on workplace environment and interactions, and ways to create a supportive conversation around mental health at work.
Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training gives you the skills to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.

We offer courses that meet the required trainings expectations for organizations that receive the Recovery Navigator Program grant through Washington’s Health Care Authority.
Many of the courses for the Recovery Navigator Program are applicable to the work of a Case Manager, Peer Support Specialist, Certified Peer Counselor, Recovery Coach, or Behavioral Health Professional.

Training Structure
All core course content is delivered between one to three hours. Training programs are over three hours in length and can take place in a single day or over multiple days. As requested, additional content can be added to tailor any training program to achieve your desired organizational learning outcomes. We also offer an organizational and team member needs assessment to determine additional content to add during delivery of your training program.
